Fiesta Bowl Parade Looking for Bicycle Security Volunteers The Fiesta Bowl Parade is reaching out to a few of the bike clubs around the area for Bicycle Security Volunteers to roam the parade route and radio in any problems they may see. The route is 1.8 miles long and it is difficult for city police, etc. to have eyes everywhere, so our bike security volunteers help with that. They cannot get involved in any problems that may arise, we strictly need them to let the appropriate people know. Volunteers need to register as a Fiesta Bowl volunteer (which does including a volunteer screening) to participate. As a registered volunteer, you will also get a t-shirt and an invitation to our volunteer party in the spring and receive a volunteer gift. (We also have a lot of other non-bicycle volunteer opportunities available!) The parade is on Saturday, December 31 in central Phoenix. For more information or to volunteer please contact Volunteer Services Manager Veronica Brana or phone (480) 517-6275.
